Product Manager
Are you a experienced Product Manager with deep expertise in industrial product management? Do you enjoy developing product plans, working with strategic suppliers and driving innovation?
We are now recruiting a Product Manager to support Liquid Wind and the efuel Design and Performance Centre in becoming a world leading developer of green electrofuel facilities, and this could be the opportunity for you to join our team!
The world rapidly needs to electrify to replace fossil fuels on a massive scale. The hard-to-abate sectors like shipping, aviation and heavy land transport cannot be electrified with battery power and require a different type of electrification: Electrofuel made from renewable electricity and biogenic CO2.
Liquid Wind is a fast-growing company, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden and with a presence in Denmark, Finland and the UK. We have approx. 63 employees and are looking for a person that enjoys developing and growing together with the company. Our business model is designed for scale, and we have a solid pipeline of projects in development in the Nordic countries with the goal of reaching Final Investment Decision (FID) for reaching more than 10 projects by 2027.
Moreover, Liquid Wind has together with key partners Siemens Energy, Topsoe, Carbon Clean and Alfa Laval created a joint efuel Design and Performance Centre, where staff seconded in from all parties will work together on a daily basis to create the future competitive designs of eMethanol facilities based on learnings from earlier facilities design and operating data, all documented in a Digital Twin.
The location for this position is in Denmark (Hørsholm). Some travel will be required within the role.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Product Manager who will be responsible for developing, coordinating and maintaining the common product road map for our Core eMethanol Plant (CMP). As Product Manager, you will be a key role in the Design and Performance Centre, coordinating roadmaps for key OEM technologies and integrating these into a common CMP roadmap. You will be participating in shaping and prioritising improvement projects and incorporate the results of these in the product roadmap. You will be driving innovation and ensuring that technology remains cutting-edge in close collaboration with our key partners and internal organisation.
Your main tasks will be:
- Develop, coordinate, standardise, optimise and maintain the CMP product road map
- Contribute to the commercial and technical definition and description of the CMP, including its technical baseline and cost baseline
- Manage version control and releases of the CMP
- Participate in identifying improvements in terms of reduction of cost (LCOM – Levelised cost of eMethanol) and time-to-market
- Develop robust business cases for improvement projects on the CMP
- Gather, develop and maintain data to evaluate progress on and findings of the improvement projects and CMPs in operation, and use this data to steer the roadmap
- Establish KPIs and propose corrective actions for target achievement
- Participate in resource planning
You will be reporting to the Head of Design and Performance Centre located in Hørsholm, Denmark.
