Liquid Wind is a leading developer of commercial-scale electrofuel facilities.
Together with our partners, we are developing a network of facilities that produce fossil-free fuel.
We are committed to offering a climate-neutral fuel alternative for hard-to-abate sectors (such as global shipping), so they can reduce their CO2 emissions, meet their sustainability goals and contribute to a cooler world.
About Liquid Wind AB
Liquid Wind is an electrofuel development company with a vision to reduce the world’s dependency on fossil fuel. Liquid Wind has a solid pipeline of projects in development in the Nordic countries with the goal of reaching 10 projects with a Financial Investment Decision (FID) by 2026.
Headquartered in Gothenburg and with a strong presence in Copenhagen and Stockholm, Liquid Wind has approx. 40 employees and a strong group of investors, including Alfa Laval, Carbon Clean, HyCap, Siemens Energy, Topsoe and Uniper.

In 2021, Liquid Wind was awarded a SEK 151 million investment grant from Klimatklivet to develop its first electrofuel facility in Örnsköldsvik (Sweden). Klimatklivet is administered by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and supports investments that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
In 2023, Liquid Wind was named a finalist for E-Prize 2023 - Sweden's most prestigious award for climate innovation.
